Phuket wakeboarding and water skiing
Water skiing/wakeboarding- There are two dedicated locations for water skiing, one in Kathu and another in Chalong on a private lake. The cable ski in Kathu, Phuket Cable Ski has jumps, sliders and others wakeboarding props, so if you are a water skier, you need to use caution. The speed of the cable ski is also something to consider as it’s quite slow for single skiing and slow for double skiing. Most of the speed boats found at Kata, Karon, Patong, Kamala etc have water skis and wakeboards available if you fancy a go in the ocean instead of in an enclosed environment. This is a more expensive option, but it is convenient if you are already at the beach.
