Laem Singh Beach nightlife, restaurants, hotels, shopping

Laem Singh- Just a short 5 minutes drive south of Surin and 15 minutes north of Patong is the beautiful headland beach named Laem Singh. During the high season there are quite often Sunday afternoon parties house/rave parties held here. This is a very small yet idyllic beach that is reached via the headland above and then a footpath will lead you down to the beach. Be aware that if you take your own vehicle, you will be charged for parking. Whether this is legal or not is open to debate, but if you do not pay the parking fee you just might come back from the beach to find there is no air in your tyres. Be wary of jet skis here as they can ruin an otherwise perfect calm quiet day at the beach. Snorkeling is very good here and you can rent a set for you and your family if you want to take advantage of viewing the vibrant marine life. Use extreme caution when swimming between May and October due to very strong rip tides.

If you want to stay at Laem Singh, there are the Laem Singh villas on the headland above the beach. Bring your black or platinum card for these villas as they are quite expensive, but well worth it to those looking for privacy and exclusivity.

Places to stay in Laem Sing-The Laem Singh villas are the only accommodation in the area.

Places to eat in Laem Sing- About the only food you will find here is from the local Thai food carts.

Nightlife in Laem Sing- As mentioned above, quite often there are some Sunday afternoon DJ rave parties which can draw a large number of revelers.
